I love the costume jewelry of the 50s and 60s, so when I discovered a contemporary offering of vintage pieces, I went right to the website Candy Shop Vintage.
Owner Deirdre Zahl, from Charleston notes she offers one-of-a kind treats. Take a look at another item well worth collecting.

Looking for a list of current collectibles, I found the "Country Living" suggestions. One, vintage aprons, resonated for one of the recent attendees at the Summit was Ashley of Ice Milk Aprons.
Her collection and offerings are so wonderfully old-fashioned. What better place to start your collection.

So excited about Doma's Grand Opening Party in Athens April 18th!  If you are in the Athens area you should definitely stop by!

I recently ventured to downtown Lexington, Georgia to do a little antiquing.  Quaint small town with loads of history and a lot of pride.  Go for a stroll through their downtown historic district to see their antiques row... lots of good buys!

Trends come and go in antique collecting. "The Magazine Antiques" highlights tips on collecting an old favorite: pewter. Early American pewter is rarer than European. So look in your closet or your mother's and see if there's a forgotten piece. Philadelphia Antique Show,
April 13-15 highlights nearly 150 pieces of early pewter.
