I recently moved to Newport News, VA. I am from East Tennessee where sweet tea was plentiful and you could order it anytime you went to dinner. I ordered my first sweet tea in this area right after I…Continue

Best tea I've found (after trying many, many brands) to make sweet tea- Charleston Tea Plantation- without a doubt.

Just got the tea infuser pitcher by Prodyne from www.pauladeen.com. Can't wait to try it out today. I have a huge bed of fresh mint growing in my herb garden.

Making tea now with fresh mint from my herb garden. Does anyone freeze mint? We have so much this time of year and miss it in the winter. Started making mint ice cubes to use all year.

I've found a curios fact here in southeast Louisiana. I grew up in New Orleans where tea consumption is huge but no restaurants serve sweet tea. After Katrina, I moved temporarily to Jackson, Ms - lots of sweet tea. Then to Hammond La, also full of sweet tea. But I noticed that if I went 30 minutes east to Covington or Mandeville, they didn't have sweet tea. Weird.
