Compilation - Top 10 Fall Book Selections

We are a bunch of self-professed bibliophiles at The Southern Coterie… we love to read, collect and talk books. Conversation is often centered around who’s reading what with detailed reviews.  The hint of fall in the Southern air and with cooler temps and shorter days ahead, it's almost time to grab a blanket, a glass of wine or cup of coffee and sit in front a crackling fire… good book in hand, of course! To get you ready, here are some suggestions from my book bucket list this fall.  I can't…See More

CONGRATULATIONS - Martha Stewart American Made Awards

At The Southern C Summits (Jekyll, Athens, Nashville and Charleston), it’s no exaggeration to say we like to “keep good company”… from our attendees to our venues, to the speakers and our sponsors, we have been fortunate to find ourselves among some of the South’s brightest entrepreneurial minds and clever, innovative brands.  So when the Martha Stewart American Made Awards announced their nominees and the finalists, it came as no…See More

Compilation - Whitney's Top 10 Productivity Apps

Overwhelmed by so many app options?  Whether looking for your personal or work life, there are way too many choices!  As of June 2014, there were over 1,300,000 apps listed with Apple alone, which makes their catchphrase “there’s an app for that” quite apropos.  Ask ten people what their favorite app is and you will likely get ten different replies.  Everyone has a recommendation and I have tried my fair share as a mom to four very active children and as a business owner. After installing many…See More

Whitney! Wow. Deep apologies. I have not been back on this page since opening an account this summer. I am spending some time learning my way around this site. I planned to come check my profile page and see if I needed to add any info to it. Thanks for the welcome albeit summer of 2013. Look forward to getting to know the full gamut of the Southern C.

So glad you joined. Have Georgia Fan, Bootie Wood commenting on what the game has meant through the years for her family.
And then request is out to Lloyd Flanders to give us a Gator point of view. Also want to see what Ferman Bisher may have written about the rivalry.

Great to see you the other day.

Whitney,

So great hearing back from you! I cannot believe your children are that old, that means I haven't seen you in 8 or 9 years! You look beautiful!                                            I just love this site, I'm going to tell all of my southern friends about it and all my friends that are southern at heart, regardless of where they hail from. I recently moved from Franklin, TN where I was in the music business and am in Panama City Beach now but looking to move back eventually.  If there is any way that I can help you please let me know. I have the most wonderful  music contacts in Nashville and Franklin and there may be a lot of synergy there between us all.

The Summit looks amazing too, you have some incredible speakers and events planned. Much success and many blessing sent your way! Spoke to my mother just today and told her hello for you, she sends her love!

Hey Whitney! I tried to send you an email in response to your comment on my "wall" but it was sent to a "do-not-reply" email and I didn't want to post the email on a public forum. Its about sponsorship opportunities at the Southern C Conference. Can you send me an email directly to pattilaurens at hotmail dot com? Thanks so much!

Oh Whitney! I sooo want to come to the Summit! We're still in CA though. We're going job/house hunting in April to Alabama and cannot wait. I'm thinking we'll be Southerner's by the time the next Summit happens. You'll know when we're there because you're gonna hear me yell YAHOO! : ) Can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it. I hope everyone has a fantastic time!
