I don't know about y'all, but cold weather has got me skipping over Thanksgiving and heading straight to Christmas.  Maybe it's the fact that I'll be spending my Thanksgiving holiday up north in Baltimore with my fiance's family instead of with mine.  I don't know, but I thought I'd share some of my favorite ways to stay comfy and cozy while waiting until I can (publicly) celebrate Christmas.

I watch the movie The Holiday over and over again.  It's not technically a Christmas movie, but it is set during the Christmas season.

Wear oversized sweaters.  They're just sooo comfortable.

Light lots of pretty candles and turn the lights down.

Cuddle up with some hot coco/tea/coffee and a blanket.  I like to grab a good book or magazine when I do this too.

This las one might be a little too Christmas-y for some of you strict seasonal ones, but I love wearing my favorite Christmas socks under my boots before it's technically Christmas time.  Shh! No one will ever know! :)

And if you want to get REALLY naughty, have a look at one of my family's favorite Christmas memories.  I stood under this bridge in Disney World with my dad when I was 11 years old and danced uncontrollably to our favorite Christmas song.  Have a look!

Do you have any secret Christmas-y things you like to do even thought it's not Thanksgiving quite yet??

I hope everyone has a fantastic Turkey Day and Christmas season!

Love this post, love the movie (one of my faves) and love the video from Disney at the end!  It is magical being there during the holidays... if you can take the crowd :)
