We have a Coterie Crush on Melanie Turner, a chic Atlanta interior designer. She won what many would say is an Oscar for interior designers, a cover of Veranda magazine. Her accolades are many with nods from ASID Design Excellence awards, the Architectural Digest Kitchen of the Year Award, and she has been named a TRAD Home Top 10 Designer. In addition to her residential and commercial work, she has supported Show Homes for charities like Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
We love that she says her "inspiration comes from fashion and her palette from nature." That seems oh-so-Southern to us to pull from both the ornamentation and fabulous frills of fashion and the purity and beauty of the colors of the outdoors---it goes right back to that Melanie described her aesthetic as sophisticated and understated, glamorous and fresh.
