"The Social Network of the South"
I am officially in reading mode this summer. I have a mix of all kinds of things on my list and I thought I'd share them with you today!
First up, I just finished this book, The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters--the story spans many decades and has a lot to say about friendship, love and life. Plus the characters meet at camp, which makes it especially appropriate for summer. I definitely recommend!
I somehow passed through youth without reading Holes, so I just read it over the weekend. It is a fun book with a slightly dark side but the redemption in the end is well worth whatever seriousness it may have. I highly recommend this to adults and kids alike.
These are the books still to go this summer:
That's all I've got for now. Anyone have any must-reads? I am always looking for suggestions!
